Asbury Communities practices a proactive, positive and energetic
communication strategy to create a better understanding of the changing
senior living industry, and Asbury's role in the continuing care
retirement community (CCRC) field. Through its Communications
department, Asbury works to build trust and credibility with residents,
employees and community partners by assessing the needs of its
stakeholders, listening to their concerns, and communicating
appropriately.
In a technology-driven society, where senior preferences and the need
for information continue to evolve and grow, clear and accurate
communications are essential components of providing exceptional
services for seniors. Asbury leadership continues to work with resident
leaders and community Board leaders to define and refine communication.
Examples of communications capabilities at Asbury include:
- Development and management of corporate strategic communications
plan
- Promotional support and outreach to audiences within key market
areas
- Public relations and community relationship development
- Production of resident, associate and audience-specific
communications initiatives, such as newsletters, fact sheets,
television appearances and more
- Risk communications
- Message development and training/coaching
