Financial strength and stewardship are prominent among Asbury
Communities
core values. The future of senior services will be built on innovation,
compassion and technology, but a solid financial foundation will be
required to carry out these services and support our mission.
Evidence of the strength of Asbury Communities can be
found in our financial philosophy which supports:
- Maintaining and enhancing strong operational performance
demonstrated by establishing resident rates which fairly equate to
expenses. This results in
Net Operating Margin (NOM) ratio
levels comparable to other financially successful organizations in the
industry.
- Establishing financial reserves to support our mission and provide
capital for future programs and facility renovations/expansions. These
financial reserves, and additional income they generate, establish a
solid financial base that allows the Asbury communities to
weather times of economic challenge.
