| Organizational Excellence
The Organizational Excellence Department provides a
broad range of business improvement and organizational development
services. Operating as internal consultants serving both Asbury
Communities and its communities through on-site Continuous Quality
Improvement coordinators, we provide support to align the
organizational leadership and operational structures.
Our goals are achieved through three distinct
service offerings. The first is Continuous Quality Improvement
(CQI), which focuses on improving work processes. The second is
Performance Excellence (PE), based on the Malcolm Baldrige National
Quality Award Criteria, which focuses on the systems that enable
organizational alignment from strategic planning to performance
measures. Finally, we provide Organizational Development (OD)
initiatives and, through Asbury University, provide training and
education necessary for associate growth, job satisfaction and
leadership development.
Specific offerings related to the three elements
of Organizational Excellence include:
CQI
- Development of on-site CQI Coordinators and
Facilitators supporting the local CQI Process
- Focus groups to identify the voice of the
customer
- Survey development and reporting
PE
- Facilitation of business system development and
deployment aligned with Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award
Criteria
- Support for application development to enable
objective assessments of progress
- Support of strategic planning initiatives at
both corporate and community locations
OD
- Needs Assessments and identification of
competencies required of critical positions
- Development of a Knowledge Management
infrastructure to capture organizational learning and identify
skills, talents and abilities of the associates
- Skills training in support of our quality
culture
