Asbury Solomons Community

At the not-for-profit senior community of Asbury Solomons, our first commitment is to residents—and to a promise of benevolent care. We seek to enhance residents’ lives without placing an undue financial burden on them.

By making a gift through the Asbury Foundation, you’ll be joining with us in this mission. Even better, you’ll have the peace of mind of knowing that your entire donation will benefit the Asbury Solomons community.

While financial donations are always appreciated, so is your participation in fundraising events. Keep reading to see how your giving spirit has the power to help lift up an entire community.

Asbury Solomon Thrift Sales

Being thrifty doesn’t just save money at Asbury Solomons. It also raises money for the Asbury Solomons Benevolent Care Fund. Discover your next deal at one of three thrift sales: Granny’s Treasures is the on-site thrift shop containing household items, electronics, holiday items and much more. Betty’s Closet operates a clothing thrift shop offering gently used clothing and accessories for men, women, children and even pets. The Library Committee hosts used book and DVD sales throughout the year.

Fundraising Events

All Asbury Solomon fundraising events have one thing in common—they’re actually fun, while also raising money for the Benevolent Care Fund and Specific Purpose Funds. So far, Asbury Solomons has hosted a Valentine’s Day Carnation Sale, Healthcare Scholarship Dinner, and a Thankful Giving Celebration, which allows residents to honor other residents with a simple message of thanks and gift to the Foundation.

Asbury Foundation Heritage Society

Decades ago, our first residents had the vision to begin a tradition of generosity and caring. That tradition still thrives today thanks to our many friends who seek to ensure that residents of Asbury Solomons can always anticipate more.

The Asbury Foundation Heritage Society seeks to recognize donors who have included an Asbury community in their wills or estate plans. Planned gifts of any amount are appreciated and will help continue an extraordinary legacy of service to seniors for many years to come. If you have already made a planned gift, and are not a Heritage Society member, please contact us so that we may express our appreciation.
