Bethany Village Community
At Bethany Village, you can always anticipate more. That means a commitment to the promise of benevolent care and to enhancing residents’ lives without placing an undue financial burden on them. You can join in that mission by making a gift through the Asbury Foundation, with the full assurance that your entire donation to Bethany Village benefits the Bethany Village community only.
Even better, you’ll be able to see your financial gift at work. Keep reading to see the transformation underway at Bethany Village—and how you can be a part of it.
Building our Community
Each year, the leadership team collaborates with board members and residents to set the future direction at Bethany Village. The current focus is a revitalization of the Bethany East community, including updating interiors and expanding gathering and meeting areas and amenities through the 3-phase Building our Community capital campaign.
- Phase One (Completed): The new 12,450-square-foot Richard D. Rife Center enables residents to come together for social gatherings, worship services, concerts, speaker series, and even weddings.
- Phase Two (Completed): The 7,400-square-foot Town Center will include a café/bistro and pub, making it the perfect place for a morning book club or an afternoon game of cards.
- Phase Three (upcoming): Residents will feel as if they’re walking on the main street of a small town, complete with a post office, bank, library, gift shop, and beauty salon and spa.
It’s generous donor support like yours that makes all of these projects possible, ensuring that Bethany Village continues to lead the way in vibrant senior living.
Bethany Village Auxiliary
Organized in 1972, this self-governing group makes service its first priority. To accomplish its many goals, thousands of dollars have been raised through projects such as the Spring Fashion Show and operation of the on-site gift shop.
Proceeds have been used to provide wonderful amenities throughout the community, including a horseshoe pit, grocery carts, shuffleboard courts, multimedia projectors, outdoor benches and a saltwater aquarium.
Fundraising Events at Bethany Village
Staff members and residents are always brainstorming new ways and special events to raise money for both the Benevolent Care and other special programs. A few examples include the Concert for Care Assurance, Valentine’s Day Carnations for Care Assurance and the Bethany Village Nursing Grant Brunch.
Asbury Foundation Heritage Society
The Asbury Foundation Heritage Society recognizes benefactors who, through their vision and generosity, seek to ensure that the highest quality of life and healthcare services will be available to future generations. This tradition began decades ago with the dreams and ideals of Asbury’s first residents—and it continues today through the generosity of people like you.
The Heritage Society was formed to honor all donors who have included an Asbury community in their wills or estate plans. Be assured that your planned gift, of any amount, is appreciated and will be part of an extraordinary legacy of service to seniors for many years to come. If you have already made a planned gift, and are not a Heritage Society member, please contact us so that we may express our appreciation.
