As a not-for-profit community, RiverWoods always puts its residents first. That means a commitment to the promise of benevolent care and to enhancing residents’ lives without placing an undue financial burden on them. When you make a gift through Asbury Foundation, you’ll join in that mission, with the assurance that your entire donation benefits the RiverWoods community.

But it isn’t just financial donations that are appreciated. Keep reading to see how gifts of both money and time work together to transform the lives of residents, as well as the RiverWoods community as a whole.

Grande Illumination

Each year, RiverWoods holds this special event to honor and/or remember loved ones. Individuals may sponsor a luminary in honor or memory of a loved one, or for one who has blessed them in some way. Gifts given through the Grande Illumination event supports the RiverWoods Benevolent Care Fund which assists residents who have outlived their financial resources.

Auxiliary

Supporting RiverWoods and the Community It Serves

The Auxiliary provide services and equipment to enhance the lives of RiverWoods residents.

The RiverWoods Auxiliary traces its roots back to 1915 when an Auxiliary was formed at Central Oak Heights as plans were made to open the Evangelical Home and Orphanage. Over the years its function has remained the same—dedication to improving the quality of life for RiverWoods residents.

Lewisburg/Milton Meals on Wheels

Sponsored by RiverWoods Senior Living Community, Meals on Wheels are prepared fresh daily. These hot, nutritious meals are delivered by trusted volunteers throughout the Lewisburg and Milton areas between 11 a.m. and noon, Monday through Friday.

All meals though the Lewisburg Milton Meals on Wheels program are subsidized – no one pays the full cost of a meal which is $8.00. This is made possible because of the generosity of individuals and businesses. Click here to make an online gift today – you make a difference for seniors in our community!
