Donating your vehicle to the Asbury Foundation is a great way you can help support our mission.

The proceeds from the sale of your donated car will assist our Foundation in providing support to seniors who have outlived their financial resources by no fault of their own. Partnered with the NCS Vehicle Donation, it’s an easy process that may even qualify you for a tax deduction.

How to Donate Your Car

Donate your car by following the easy process below:

  1. If you’d like to donate your car, call NCS Vehicle Donation’s toll free line at (866) 829-2918. When you call, make sure to have the title in hand because they need that information while accepting your donation.
    • If you’d prefer to submit an online form, just click here.
  1. Once your car donation is accepted, NCS Vehicle Donation will assign the vehicle to a local auction company. A local towing company will contact you to pick up your car free of charge! Vehicles are picked up within 1-2 business days and have your title and keys ready for when the tow truck arrives. A towing receipt will be left with you, and you’ll receive another receipt from the Asbury Foundation once everything is processed.
    • For added convenience, you can leave you title and keys in the car, so you don’t have to be present for the tow truck pickup.
  1. Once your donated car is sold at auction, NCS Vehicle Donation will process a letter along with the IRS 1098C to you which will indicate the amount your car sold for.
    • NOTE: The minimum you can claim for a donated car is $500.00. Once the vehicle sells for more, NCS Vehicle Donation is required to indicate the exact sold amount on the IRS 1098C form.
  1. A check for the amount will be issued directly to the Asbury Foundation from NCS Vehicle Donation.
    • Just like that your donated car has helped us fulfill our mission!
