About Asbury Communities
Asbury Communities’ heritage is rooted in the Methodist Church. In fact, Asbury was established in Gaithersburg, Md., in 1926 as a home for aging parishioners.
Today, Asbury welcomes people of all beliefs, cultures, and backgrounds and is not affiliated with the Methodist Church. However, we continue to live the faith-based values of Methodism founder John Wesley, who urged his followers to “Do all the good you can . . . as long as ever you can.”
With 11 senior living communities in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee, Asbury proudly serves 4,300 seniors and 2,800 associates. Asbury is committed to redefining the expectations of aging.
