Since 1964, Bethany Village has been the leading continuing care retirement community in Mechanicsburg, PA, proudly serving people 55+. Through the past 50 years, Bethany Village has steadily expanded its residence offerings and services and amenities that enhance senior well-being and opportunities for fun, purposeful living.

A Resident Council works with administration and department leaders to share input and collaborate on new offerings and initiatives that impact residents. While Bethany Village retains the Mission-focused values of our Methodist heritage, we have intentionally evolved to be a community where people of all backgrounds, preferences, cultures, and beliefs feel welcome and embraced for who they are.
Bethany Village ensures residents’ voices are heard in a number of ways. The Residents’ Council is an elected body of members that meets monthly and works in collaboration with the community’s Leadership Team in such operational areas as dining, wellness, and facilities. In addition, the Executive Director holds monthly Resident Coffees which are conducted in the Rife Center and broadcast on our internal TV station for those who are unable to attend.

Bethany Village is part of Asbury Communities, which is among the nation’s 20 largest not-for-profit continuing care retirement communities systems. With a focus on growing its Mission and ensuring financial sustainability for the long-term, Asbury makes strong reserves and sound operations a priority in these ways.
