At Asbury, there’s always a plan—and it’s always to promote the highest quality of life for our current residents, as well as the generations to come. To that end, campus and corporate leaders balance daily decision-making and management practices with long-term strategic planning and focus. Asbury Solomons places great emphasis on stewardship, financial strength, and quality.
Kelly has more than 30 years of experience working in the aging services profession and is a licensed nursing home administrator. In 2022, Kelly received Asbury’s Edwin C. Thomas Leadership Award.

Pastor Charles is an ordained Methodist elder whose career spans over 20 years of ministry leading churches in the region before joining the Asbury Solomons team in 2013. His M.Div. and Ph.D. are from Duke University; and taken together, he sees training and experience combining with a passion for older adults to offer spiritual care for residents of any religious tradition, and for those who profess no faith. His community involvement has included Calvert County’s Commission on Aging, and service on the board of Friends of Calvert County Seniors.

It is representing the presence of the God who is always with us, never forsakes us, and calls us to live each day to our best and highest.
