Leadership Team
A Dedicated Leadership Team
Providing strategic planning and operational expertise, our Senior Leadership Team is supported by experienced Board members who are highly regarded in their professions, and exceptional associates across our organization.
With a strong foundation, forward-thinking and collaborative leadership, and an organization dedicated to doing all the good we can with integrity, transparency, and grace, Asbury is well prepared to continue its role as a national, not-for-profit senior living leader.

“I find in my everyday work that I learn so much from the residents about life and living. My hope is that I am able to give back to them even a portion of what they have provided to others throughout their lives.”

“It has been a pleasure to work on the Springhill campus for over 25 years in various roles in nursing at ForestView then moving into the Nursing Home Administrator role. Following our Guiding Principle of “Doing all the good we can with integrity, transparency, and grace” is so important to me. It is up to all of us to ensure residents are happy and their needs are being met to provide them with the fulfillment they deserve.”

“I take great pleasure in being able to provide quality customer service to seniors, something I’ve been doing for more than 35 years. My team’s goal is to make residents’ homes comfortable each and every day, and the interaction we have while doing that is one of this job’s best perks. I enjoy using my technical skills, along with my experience in emergency medical services and safety scenario planning, to make community members’ lives carefree and secure.”

Karen Karle has been the Director of Health Services at Springhill since January 2022. Karen started her career in senior living in 1996. She is a graduate of Edinboro University and has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Karen is also a certified geriatric care manager and is a licensed nursing home administrator.
“I am fortunate to work at a facility that excels in resident care, resident satisfaction and associate satisfaction. I enjoy being part of a team that strives to Do All the Good They Can with integrity, transparency and grace.”’
In her spare time, Karen serves on the board of a local senior center and previously served on the board for the Alzheimer’s Association. She likes to travel with her family, including two adult children. In any leftover time, she likes to read and do embroidery.

“I have worked in the human services field for almost 20 years. I am fortunate that my role as Director of Resident Life allows me to develop new friendships with residents, families, and associates on a daily basis. My job is not just planning resident programs and events, but rather ‘experiences’ on campus and in the community that help promote the health and well-being of residents. I thoroughly enjoy the work that I do and look forward to providing leadership to the experienced staff in the Resident Life Department.”
