Hear From Residents

Providing strategic planning and operational expertise, our Senior Leadership Team is supported by experienced Board members who are highly regarded in their professions, and exceptional associates across our organization. With a strong foundation, forward-thinking and collaborative leadership, and an organization dedicated to doing all the good we can with integrity, transparency, and grace, Asbury is well prepared to continue its role as a national, not-for-profit senior living leader.

“The residents who live here are very friendly and welcoming. We feel we know everyone that lives here now!”

Donna Harrington lives here with her husband, Ronald, in a two-bedroom apartment. They love their bright, spacious apartment and fully applianced kitchen. Donna is very involved in almost every lifestyle opportunity that’s available at Springhill. Exercise classes, resident committees, the annual craft fair, The Longest Day event at Springhill for the Alzheimer’s Association, and many more. She and her husband are always inviting friends to Springhill and encouraging them to make the move sooner rather than later. Donna and Ronald love the friends they have made here, both residents and associates. They wish they would have made the move here years ago!

“I think the main benefit we experienced in being here is being a part of a close-knit community.”

Residents, George Hazimanolis and Tom Downing, discuss what led them to make a move to a Continuing Care Retirement Community and Springhill specifically. Being a part of a close-knit community, the wide range of services and lifestyle offerings and making just one move for the rest of their lives are just a few of the reasons why this was a smart decision for both of them. Tom and George are highly involved in all aspects of the Springhill campus and love the beautiful amenities of their Garden Home and the campus inside and out.

“The fact that I could make friends here so readily was a bit surprising to me.”

“We had wonderful neighbors in Philadelphia, and the fact that I could make friends here so readily was surprising to me. When I moved here, I never even thought about the staff, and what has been astounding to me is how they’ve really become family, too. They really go the extra mile.”

“I could not have found a better spot.”

“I could not have found a better spot. I’m thrilled with the lovely view from my balcony and to be able to log a 2-mile hike without leaving the Springhill campus. Plus, having a heated pool where I can workout is just what the doctor ordered.”

“Our reward was knowing mom was happy.”

“My wife knew Springhill very well since her mom and aunt had both lived there. So, when my mom was ready for a move, we easily recommended Springhill. Mom’s reward was a new home, a very social environment, and the best caregiving staff ever assembled. Our reward was knowing that Mom was happy, that she had a whole new and active involvement with friends, and knowing that she would be held in good care for the rest of her life.”
