Senior Housing News: Technology Supports Staffing Challenges

We are always looking for ways to leverage technology to better meet the needs of those we serve. Rosie the Robot is one of the latest examples of innovative technology in action. Rosie is a new Dining “associate” at Springhill and Asbury Solomons and soon will be making appearances at other Asbury communities. Rosie complements associates by carrying up to five meals at a time to tables, giving associates more time to closely focus on resident needs. Senior Housing News highlighted this latest technology when it interviewed Asbury Communities Continuing Care Retirement Communities President Todd Andrews as part of a larger story about the “Rise of Robots” in senior living.
