Based on associate feedback, we developed a mobile-first strategy by utilizing an associate app to securely engage, connect and communicate with non-desk associates. This approach has led to increased readership of important organizational and local messages, higher associate engagement as a result of a single platform for communications and resources, and built-in messaging tools to help managers connect with their teams.
More than 2,200 associates (85 percent of the workforce) have voluntarily downloaded the app. Beyond adoption, message read rates in the app average 84 percent – a best-in-class percentage. The app also includes three-tap access to many critical tools and resources that help associates save time, do their job and connect to our HR portals.
