Germantown, MD — Asbury Communities, Inc., is pleased to announce that Michael Hollen has been named President of The Asbury Group, a leading management, consulting and IT solutions company specializing in senior living and long-term care. The Asbury Group (http://www.theasburygrp.com) is the for-profit, strategic consulting arm of the Asbury organization.
Hollen recently joined The Asbury Group as Vice President of Business Development, and previously served as Vice President of Operations for Sodexo Seniors. Hollen began in his new role as President on June 1st. Prior to this, the role was held by Doug Leidig, who held this position while also serving as President and CEO for Asbury Communities, a not-for-profit system of continuing care retirement communities (CCRC) and senior home care services. Hollen will report directly to Leidig.
“Mike steps into this role with a strong background in business development, entrepreneurship, strategic leadership and a true vision for innovation,” said Leidig. “Mike will continue to be responsible for the business development role he was originally hired for, and he will now have the ability to coordinate resources throughout The Asbury Group to help Asbury with our growth initiative, which includes driving innovation, creating new partnerships and seeking collaboration opportunities with both CCRCs and Asbury business partners.”
The Asbury Group Board of Directors approved Hollen’s appointment by unanimous consent.
Backed by Asbury for more than 11 years, The Asbury Group has used its unique insight as provider-based consultants to deliver real-time tested solutions to management and IT challenges for senior living providers.
