Two Normandie Ridge Staff Members are Recognized for Excellence

Albright Care Services held their annual meeting virtually on May 14 and two Normandie Ridge staff members received awards. Christina Beavers, Dietary Supervisor, received the Seneca Foote Servant Leadership Award and Robert Mitchell, Lifeguard and Activities Assistant, received the Normandie Ridge Best of the Best Award.

Christina BeaverChristina was surprised to receive the Servant Leadership Award. She said, “I really love the residents here. Every resident has a different taste pallet and every resident has a different experience in life. As I make different menus and have different ideas, it brings in different people and they share their experiences. So when I did an ‘Around the World Buffet’, the residents told me there experiences about traveling to different countries and how my food was like that experience. It’s more than just eating, but it’s recreating memories for them.”

Two Normandie Ridge Staff Members are Recognized for ExcellenceRobert, who is known as Mitch at Normandie Ridge, said he was extremely honored by the recognition. He said, “The people are pretty close to my age, so I can relate to them. I just enjoy working here. It’s a feeling of being needed. The people want companionship and feel like they are part of something and Normandie Ridge is a pretty good thing to be a part of.”

Both Christina and Mitch received a certificate and a special recognition luncheon was held on their behalf.
