Supported by the Asbury Senior Leadership Team, the RiverWoods Leadership Team is comprised of an experienced, dedicated staff who run the day-to-day operations of the campus.
“I view my role as RiverWoods Executive Director as an incredible opportunity to continually support our Central Pennsylvania community. Having dedicated my career to serving others, I am excited by Asbury’s Mission to ‘do all the good we can’ for those we serve. I take great pride in being part of a person-centered organization that seeks to provide the very best experience for all those who live and work here.”
“There is tremendous fulfillment in working with a team that is so focused on providing truly personalized care for all residents, whether they live here or are just receiving post-acute services as they prepare to return home. Each day I come to work prepared to provide quality, dignified health care services to the seniors we serve, and to deliver on our mission.”
“I started my career with RiverWoods more than 30 years ago, and I will always call this community ‘home.’ Working with seniors is a calling. I feel blessed to be part of a community with strong values, and to be able to go home every day proud of the fact that we are providing great care, compassion and genuine warmth to the residents who have made RiverWoods their home.”
“Having served in churches for 40 years as an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church, I am able to share my top two passions of ministry here at RiverWoods: worship and pastoral care. Throughout my parish ministry, I always felt a nudging from God to serve as a chaplain in senior living. I absolutely love sharing my ministry with the residents and associates here. I feel privileged to be at RiverWoods at this stage of my life and for the opportunity to serve.”
“I have worked in senior living for more than 35 years, and I take great pride in not only completing tasks at the highest level, but more importantly enacting change in residents’ lives. By paying attention to detail, listening and responding to resident requests and needs, and following through with even the smallest details, I and my team make a positive difference each day. My mantra has and will always be ‘Pride in caring for others.’ Nothing is more rewarding than responding to residents’ needs with the respect and dignity they deserve, mentoring associates on my team to respond in the same way.”
“I have the amazing opportunity to engage with RiverWoods’ residents daily. Just as I help motivate and inspire them, they return the favor by sharing their stories, experiences, and strengths with me. The relationships I build with residents as they move through their wellness journeys, and the gains I see many residents making physically and cognitively is incredibly rewarding. I look forward to coming to work each day, and I am grateful that I can be a caring listener as well as a motivator and instructor.”
