“I view my role as RiverWoods Executive Director as an incredible opportunity to continually support our Central Pennsylvania community. Having dedicated my career to serving others, I am excited by Asbury’s Mission to ‘do all the good we can’ for those we serve. I take great pride in being part of a person-centered organization that seeks to provide the very best experience for all those who live and work here.”
Fran Ashby

“I have the best job in the world, I help people share their blessings to make the world a better place – sometimes for one, sometimes for many – but always for good!”
David Dearing
Chaplain
“Having served in churches for 40 years as an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church, I am able to share my top two passions of ministry here at RiverWoods: worship and pastoral care. Throughout my parish ministry, I always felt a nudging from God to serve as a chaplain in senior living. I absolutely love sharing my ministry with the residents and associates here. I feel privileged to be at RiverWoods at this stage of my life and for the opportunity to serve.”
Elizabeth Gamble
Director of Nursing
Allison Kauffman
Director of Sales
“In my role as Director of Sales, I am so happy to help potential residents find the perfect apartment, cottage, or personal care residence to suit their needs. I love meeting families from all over the country looking to relocate to RiverWoods, where they can retire and enjoy maintenance-free living. Many move to RiverWoods to be near family and friends in the area, and I am thrilled to help them make the move an easy and stress-free experience. I look forward to seeing residents enjoy their new life on our campus and I love watching them make new friends and take part in our wellness activities and other amenities.”
Mark Lyons
Director, Facilities
“I have managed Facilities operations and EVS under the umbrella of CCRC/senior living communities for 25 years. Some of my responsibilities are to ensure full compliance with DOH and state/local regulations. I strive to provide an excellent customer service for all those I serve including, but not limited to residents, associates, visitors, and vendors. I negotiate and maintain the contracts for waste, sewer/water, pest control, lawn maintenance, HVAC, electricity and gas services. I also oversee the renovations, monitor budgets, complete billing, transportation, the hiring of new associates, training, and order supplies to keep the day to day running smoothly. I really enjoy, and am driven by, positive feedback from those who live and work here. I love to see happy residents that are completely satisfied with where they live and the environment they live in.”
