A Legacy of Outstanding Service
RiverWoods offers older adults a lifestyle designed to help you age better for longer and live a life that enriches mind, body and spirit. The seniors who call RiverWoods home come from diverse backgrounds — retired professors to military veterans to homemakers — but they all have a common desire to work together to make RiverWoods a place like no other.
Both residents and associates work together to shape RiverWoods’ campus and programs through their unique passions, character, and dedication to each other. This is a warm and inviting senior living community dedicated to promoting a higher quality of life now and in the future.
As a not-for-profit senior living, through the Asbury Foundation, RiverWoods provides Benevolent Care for eligible residents who outlive their resources through no fault of their own.
As a member of Asbury Communities, the 14th-largest, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community system in the United States as ranked by LeadingAge Ziegler 200 (LZ 200), RiverWoods brings the strength of a system to its operations. Established in 1926, Asbury has expertise in meeting the changing needs of our nation’s older adults and has made sound operations a priority.
Led by a Board of Directors comprised of accomplished professionals with experience across the financial, regulatory, and insurance industries, Asbury monitors our financial strength by requiring an annual audit to review the entire Asbury system’s consolidated annual statements. At the bottom of this page, you can view and download those and our IRS Form 990. Learn more about our Financial Strength here.
Our Mission and faith-based heritage is reflected in our Benevolent Care program, managed by the Asbury Foundation. Should a resident outlive their financial resources through no fault of their own, they will be able to apply for assistance with monthly fees, food, medical care, medications and health insurance. Participation in this program is strictly confidential.
